THE CUSTOMER
eAx solutions GmbH – a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH – develops and industrialises electric drive axles for e-mobility. To do this, eAx solutions GmbH needs suitable production facilities and equipment.
CHALLENGE
In order to meet increased customer demand at short notice, eAx solutions GmbH quickly needed to expand its production capacities in the area of stator manufacturing.
SOLUTION
In order to expand the production capacity as quickly as possible, it was decided to implement a purely mechanical solution. In the separate extension of the existing line constructed by the Röscher company, various interconnected manual workstations were realised.
These allow the required steps of inserting the hairpins to form the wire basket, expanding the slot insulation paper and translating the finished wire basket into the lamination stack.
