The challenge
Development and production of a manual production device for separating (strong!) magnets from a block and the subsequent error-free assembly of a magnet ring with 10 or 14 magnets with correct, alternating polarity.
Solution
To solve this problem, the engineers at Röscher GmbH have realized two devices in two development iterations: in the first device, the magnets are separated strip by strip from the magnet block (= delivery state) into magazines. In the second device, the magnets are loaded individually onto the magnet ring. The poka-yoke principle of the magazines ensures alternating polarity.
